Join us as we briefly discuss the important connection between the pub & football scenes whilst taking a look at a stunning, prime example of a pub that highlights how important the combination are to each other. The first scene is a shortened snipped from our longer piece which covered the four pubs which surrounded the old (demolished) #BrentfordStadium. The spectacular @TrafalgarT Trafalgar Tavern is an opulent pub/function building in the Royal Borough of #Greenwich, #London.

This was a special day for me, at different times it included some very special people in places that mean the world to me.

Built in 1837, the year Queen Victoria ascended to the throne, it was a small inn (The Old George) which served local fisherman.

Popular due to its prominent position on the River Thames & sitting so close to Greenwich Hospital/Woolwich Dockyard.

Barking Road is a world of pub stores and pub losses all to itself. This hostelry is the first one would have come across on the high street. A pub with a troublesome reputation and a world class boxing legacy, now it's building serves as a Turkish restaurant. 🍻
