WRITING BODY PARAGRAPHS | PROBLEM N1 ✍️

Paragrafda aniq umumiy fikrning yetishmasligi

Ko’plab 6.0 yoki 6.5 insholarda yoki paragrafdagi fikrlarni umumlashtiruvchi fikr yetishmaydi yoki bu fikr bo’lsada, uni yoritib berish uchun izohlar yetarli emas. Shunday hollarda, inshoyizngda ko’tarilgan fikr noaniq bo’lib qoladi, sizni o’qiyotgan examiner esa fikringizni to’liq anglay olmaydi.

YECHIM

Insho yozishni boshlashdan oldin, kichik reja tuzib oling.
Har bir body paragraph uchun asosiy fikr tanlab oling. So’ngra, mana shu fikrni o’zini mantiqiy izoh va misollar bilan yoritib berish haqida o’ylang. Har bitta bogy paragrafda fikrlar bir-biri bilan zanjir tariqasida ulanib ketsin. Bitta fikrni yakunlamasdan, turib boshqasiga o’tib ketmang.

Siz o’zingizdan MUVAFFAQQIYATGA YETAKLOVCHI savollar so’rayapsizmi?

“Boshqalar IELTSdan yoki CEFRdan nechi bal olyapti?” deb emas
"Men IELTSdan qancha bal olishni hohlayman va NEGA?” deb so’rang.

“Nega bu test buncha qiyin?” deb emas
“Men aynan nimada qiynalyapman va buni qanday to’g’rilashim mumkin?” deb so’rang.

“Buni qanday qila olaman?” deb emas
“Buni qilishimdan meni NIMA to’xtatib turibdi?” deb so’rang.

O'zimizga nima deb gapirishimiz va qanday savollar so'rashimizni hayotimizga katta ta'siri bor.

Agar siz muvafaqqiyatga erishmoqchi bo'lsangiz, aynan MUVAFAQQIYATGA YETAKLOVCHI savollarni O'ZINGIZDAN so'rang
Fikrlaringizni izohlarda yozing. 👇

IELTS Reading: the time problem 📚

'Not having enough time' is the biggest problem for most people taking the reading test. Here are some tips for dealing with this problem:

1. Go straight to the first question. Don't waste time reading the full passage or the first sentence of each paragraph, and don't read any of the other questions.

2. Do 'paragraph' questions last. Questions that ask you to match headings or statements with paragraphs are much easier if you are already familiar with the passage.

3. Don't get stuck on one question. As soon as you realise that you are having difficulties with a question, leave it and move to the next one. Return to difficult questions later if you have time.

4. Remember that the answers to most question sections are in order in the passage. You don't need to go back to the beginning of the passage to search for each answer.

5. Only skim or scan for numbers and names. Otherwise, read at normal speed.

6. Work with an alarm. You can't do this in an exam, but at home you could set the alarm (on your phone) for 2 minutes and try to do each question within this time.

Note:
When preparing for the reading test at home, try not to worry about time at first. Your first concern should be to get the score you need, even if it takes you 3 hours instead of 1 hour to do a full test.

IELTS Reading | Vaqt muammosi 📚

IELTS readingda vaqt yetmasligi o’rganuvchilar uchun eng katta muammolardan biri. Quyida siz uchun bu borada bir nechta maslahatlar:

1. Birdaniga birinchi savolga qarang. Butunmatnni yoki matn boshini o’qiyman deb vaqtingizni behuda sarflamang.

2. Paragraf savollarini eng so’ngida ishlang. Matching headings yoki matching statements with paragraphs savollarini matnni o’qib bo’lgandan keyin ishlasangiz, anchagina osonroq.

3. Bitta savolda to’xtab qolmang. Bitta savolda qiynalib, ko’proq vaqt sarflayotgan bo’lsangiz darhol keyingisiga o’tib keting va qolib ketgan savolga vaqting ortib qolsagina, qayting.

4. Eslab qoling, ko’p savollar javoblari ketma-ket keladi. Shuning uchun har safar matn boshiga qaytavermang.

5. Raqamlar va ismlarni scan uslubida ishlang. Qolgan qiyin savollar uchun matnni normal tezlikda o’qing.

6. Budilnik bilan ishlang. Telefoningdagi budilnikni 2 daqiqaga qo’yib, har bitta savolni 2 daqiqa ichida ishlashni mashq qiling.

Eslatma:

Readingni endigina boshlagan paytingizda, vaqt haqida qayg’urmang. Eng avvalo, 2-3 soat vaqt ketsayam savollarni to’g’ri ishlashni o’rganib olishga harakat qiling.

IELTS va CEFR Writing da qanday qilib 'paraphrase' qilish kerak?

'Paraphrase' ni qanday qilishni muhokama qilishdan oldin, avvalo, 'paraphrase' o'zi nima ekanini yaxshilab tushunib olaylik...

'Paraphrase' - berilgan ma'lumotni boshqa sinonim so'zlar yordamida ifodalash demakdir. Odatda IELTS writing topshiriqlarida kirish qismini yozish uchun savol 'paraphrase' qilinadi. Topshiriqni o'zida berilgan ma'lumotni ma'nosini saqlab qolgan holatda shunchaki so'zlar o'zgartiriladi.

Masalan:

"The reason for increasing levels of pollution are the development of industry and air travel" - savolda berilgan gap.

"The causes of rising levels of pollution are the growth and expansion of industry as well as the number of people traveling by air" - 'paraphrase' qilingan varianti.

Yuqorida keltirilgan gaplardagi farqni ilg'ash qiyin emas... Ammo zinhor bazinhor unutmangki, har qanday narsani o'ta ko'pi - ziyon!

Yana qaytaraman: har qanday narsani o'ta ko'pi - ziyon!

Afsuski, juda ko'p o'quvchilar 'paraphrase' tushunchasini noto'g'ri tushunish oqibatida haddan ziyod bu masalaga oshiqcha ko'p urg'u berib yuborishadi.
Oqibatda esa savoldagi HAR BIR SO'ZNI 'PARAPHRASE' QILISHIM KERAK degan o'y ila asli 'paraphrase' bo'lmaydigan so'zlarni ham o'zgartirib yubormoqchi bo'lishadi. Biroq, 'paraphrase' qilayotganda so'z tanlash borasida juda ehtiyot bo'lish kerak. Agar so'zni ma'nosini 100% ga bilmasangiz, yaxshisi, tavakkal qilmang. So'zni o'zgartirish uchun albatta boshqa so'z bo'lishi shart emas. Savolda berilgan so'zni shaklini; masalan, ot bo'lsa fe'lga, fe'l bo'lsa otga o'zgartirib qo'ysangiz ham bo'ladi.

Nima bo'lgan taqdirda ham, unutmang: 'paraphrase' da so'zlarni sinonimlari bilan o'zgartiramiz, MA'NO ESA O'SHANDAY QOLISHI KERAK!

Listening: answers with dates 🎧

The following situation often confuses people:

The question asks you for a date
The speaker gives a day, month and year (e.g. 16th July 2019). But the instruction tells you to answer with one word and/or a number.

I agree that this is confusing.

However, my advice is simple: write 16th July as your answer, without the year. This is the answer that the IELTS people want.

So, make sure you write the day (number) and the month. Only put the year if the question asks for it (e.g. which year...?) or if the instruction allows you to include more than one number. ☝️
