According to a report by the data acquisition and analysis company DappRadar, Web3-based games and Metaverse projects raised $748 million since August 1, 2022. Last month, on average, 847,000 daily Unique Active Wallets (UAW) interacted with blockchain games, an 11% decline compared to July.
One of the most popular games in the field – Axie Infinity – surpassed $4 billion in all-time NFT sales, while approximately 36,000 additional people joined as daily players in the past three months

The Block Research's Data Dashboard shows that the number of NFTs minted on Solana — or the number of new NFTs created on its blockchain — surged to a high of 312,000 on Sept. 7. That figure represents a significant increase compared to the 39,000 on Sept. 4.

The leading cryptocurrencies in Bitcoin and Ethereum shed several points on Tuesday morning following the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) print.
Shortly after the CPI numbers were released, both Bitcoin and Ethereum dropped hefty gains earned over the week.
Today, the index revealed an 8.3% increase in the basket of goods it represents compared to August last month. This represents a 0.1% increase since the July reading, beating expectations and suggesting that inflation may be more stubborn to beat back than expected.

Chainalysis’ recent report, called “The 2022 Global Crypto Adoption Index,” revealed that digital asset adoption has slowed down in the past 12 months due to the crypto winter but remains above pre-bull market levels.
The leader from 2021 – Vietnam – was placed first again, while the Philippines and war-torn Ukraine followed shortly after. Interestingly, China (where the interest in bitcoin plunged significantly due to the crypto ban in 2021) re-entered the top 10.

At least 23% of Ethereum blocks are complying with U.S. sanctions due to the use of a service called Flashbots.
Ethereum researcher Toni Wahrstätter has published research showing that maximum extractable value (MEV) operator Flashbots is censoring all transactions originating from Tornado Cash. Out of all 19,436 Ethereum blocks generated on Ethereum after The Merge using Flashbots' relay software (for MEV Boost), not a single block contained a transaction connected to Tornado Cash, according to Wahrstätter.

The network's hash rate has also fallen 2.04% since Sept. 13, the date of the last update, according to data compiled by The Block Research.

Payments giant Visa and crypto exchange FTX have inked a partnership to allow crypto holders from 40 countries to spend their digital assets when shopping.
As part of the partnership, Visa will offer crypto debit cards in 40 different countries with a focus on Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The cards will connect to the FTX accounts of users and allow them to spend their crypto assets at checkout across millions of merchants supported by Visa, Visa CFO Vasant Prabhu reportedly said.
