i know i’ve sent a similar quote as this before but i don’t know how much i want to emphasise this— if you didn’t do much today it’s OK, just get back up and try again tomorrow! of course there are never ending “tomorrows” which can lead to procrastination, but sometimes if u just feel too tired or burnt out to do anything take a mini break before you continue. and instead of giving yourself lotsss of stuff to finish in 1 day, start slow first ok? at least you can get something done instead of just giving up. tomorrow is already thursday & we’re halfway done with the week, all the best 🫶🫶
i’m currently reading a book which many of you have read it, it ends with us by colleen hoover, and there’s actually 2 phrases that really hit me the most
“i feel like everyone fakes who they really are, when deep down we’re all equal amounts of screwed up. some of us are just better at hiding it than others”
“there’s no such thing as bad people. we’re all just people who sometimes do bad things.”
i don’t know why those two stuck up to me the most, but i feel like this is rather true and it hits hard.
maybe when i finish reading, i can think about why :)
