Village Blacksmith #RIP
4-5 #Hillreach, #Woolwich, #London #SE18 ⚰️

Built around the turn of the 1900's and replaced another pub called the "Soldier's Rest."
"The Village Blacksmith" is also poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, first published in 1840.

The Ordnance 🍻
18 Beresford Square. #Woolwich, #London#SE18
(Also known as Old Gun Pit, formerly Ordnance Arms; O'Connors)

A photogenic building packed with character. 🏆 (Part 1)

The Earl of Chatham 🍻
15 Thomas St, #Woolwich #London #SE18
A traditional family-run tavern serving pub grub providing sports TV screens. A lovely building that I hope lasts unlike so many others in the area.

The Greyhound 🍻
254 #Woolwich Church St, #London #SE18

This is a unique council estate pub with an entrance which almost resembles one of the shops. Council Estate planning schemes included Pubs & this one seems to be camouflaged into the estate itself.

The Graving Dock Tavern #RIP

North #Woolwich Road, #Silvertown, #london, #S16 This pub was built on the site of an original Victorian public house around 1960. Now one wouldn't even know one was in England, never mind the docklands.
