Civility may help.
I really hope you can learn a thing or two from these different topics (in English). Remember, English is a tool to communicate rather than a skill to master.
P.s. I’m not here to teach. I’m here just to help you add English into your daily routine.
And If you have any questions/suggestions/feedback don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
With love, Laura :)

Hi everyone, happy Friday.
Did you know that Pride Month is celebrated in June? 🌈🫶🏻
With that in mind, here’s an article with everything you need to know about it: What is it? How did it begin? How is it celebrated? Etc.

Reader's Digest
What Is Pride Month and How Did It Begin?
Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ community or an ally, here’s everything you need to know about Pride Month, including plans for 2021.
And here’s a book about feminism, from Chimamanda Adichie. (the author of the award winning book “We should all be feminists”).
Chimamanda is a super eloquent writer and one of the most compelling contemporary voices in the world today. In this book, you’ll find 15 suggestion to empower a young woman.
Here’s my suggestion for how to approach the book:
⁃Read each suggestion and write a summary of it (to improve your writing skills as well).
This is what I’ve been having my students to do. They’re lovin’ it 😇

Good evening, everyone. Hope you're having a great Saturday. :)
If you checked the news yesterday, chances are you got the information that the US Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion. At least 26 states will ban or restrict abortion access, and in some states, abortion could be criminalized.
Needless to say that it has sparked a lot of controversy all over the world.
Want to educate yourself on the topic? I've got you covered.
I selected 2 excellent articles for you; one from Reader's Digest and the other from Nature Journal.*
Hope the read will be useful for you to:
- build your vocabulary on the subject
- develop and communicate your own opinions in English about the theme Abortion.
Once again, if you have any questions (any questions, really!) don't hesitate to contact me directly.
*Note: I am pretty picky about what I consume, especially in the news. I gravitate towards scientific evidence-based stories. Hence, here you will only receive recommendations from credible sources.

Hi guys, happy Tuesday!
Here's an article I've shared with my students this week (still on the topic of abortion in the US) and some questions to encourage critical thinking in the PDF.
I really hope it’s useful. Best wishes, Laura.
