i just got a tell on the new ios 6 update:
if you have yet to update it, i suggest you look up what's new about it!
it directly affects telegram such that you are no longer able to
- spoiler texts
- add links
- bold/italicise/underline/strikethrough texts
as mentioned from khad, here is a reddit thread

as far as i know, i can only suggest using telegram on another device like your laptop, chromebook, etc
i'm not sure if installing telegram x helps — it's slightly different from the usual telegram but since i own an android, idk how helpful this will be!

differences about tele x:
- able to hold chats and read them without marking them as read
- immediately check/see if posts have been forwarded/shared even if you're not the owner of the channel
- unable to see reactions
- unable to add video pfps
