What books should I read in English?
Over my time in Uzbekistan, I have noticed a tendency to only read books that provide some kind of benefit. Two - Three years ago it was "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", and more recently I have heard "Atomic Habits" to be the most popular self-help book to read.
While I respect the drive for self-improvement, these books are usually worded in a very straight-forward way, and are not always the best to improve your English comprehension. I almost always tend to incorporate literature and story-driven books into my English lessons, and now I want to give your my top 3 recommendations for literature that you can start with.
These books are all within the 200 page range, and are understandable with a lower English level. The stories of these books are interested, but very straightforward and can be summarized in 1-2 sentences. I choose specifically these books for students because while they have a narrative and actions happen in the story, they also offer something to think about.
1) The Old Man and the Sea
2) The Giver
3) The Alchemist
Always remember that the goal of reading a book should be to enjoy yourself while reading it, and finding a book of the right English level as well as one that is actually interesting can be hard! Before you start reading these books, check out the summaries to see what the story will be about and whether or not it'll be interesting for you, and if you start reading one of these books and find that you aren't enjoying it, skip it!

Вчера с 6-летней внучкой смотрели фильм «Волк и Лев».
Прекрасный фильм, на основе реальных событий. Давно хотелось смотреть что нибудь типа такого. Любовь, доброта, жертвенность, искусство и природа - фабула данного фильма.
Слишком даже семейный, проникновенный и атмосферный фильм.
И в конце фильма говорят, что в Канаде за Львом (Мечтатель) и Волком ( Моцарт) смотрят и в реале они дружат, и это не фантастика.
В последнее время мне очень импонируют фильмы с большим охватом природы, красота неимоверная: реки, леса и голубое небо. Самое главное жизнь без соц сетей и конечно с прекрасной фортепьянной музыкой.
Продюсерская работа превосходная, яркость красок завораживающая.
Были Ощущения, я как будто посетила кинотеатр.
Внучка тоже была в восторге. Рекомендую к просмотру.
PS: Даже дикие животные когда вместе растут в любви и в семье очень благодарные и чуткие, хотя волк и лев по природе 2 разновидности животных. Хомо сапиенцам есть к чему научиться у этих животных.

Explanation of the Task
This is an Opinion>Personal viewpoint type essay (it asks how far you agree with an idea.) You should introduce the topic and give your opinion in the introduction, then explain why you have this view. You should briefly consider the opposing view, then restate your opinion in the conclusion.
Notice how this essay type is different from the Opinion>Discussion type which we saw in Topic 1, which asks you to discuss both sides of a debate.
