"ശരീരത്തിന് മാറ്റം വേണമെന്ന് ആടുജീവിതം എന്ന സിനിമ 2008 ല്‍ കമ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ എനിക്കറിയാമായിരുന്നു. അത് ഞാന്‍ ചെയ്തു. അതുപോലെ ഇനി ഒരു സിനിമയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയും ഞാന്‍ ചെയ്യില്ല എന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചതാണ്. കാരണം, എന്റെ ശരീരത്തെ വീണ്ടും അത് പോലെയാക്കുക എന്നത് അസാധ്യമാണ്. ആടുജീവിതത്തിലെ യഥാർഥ രൂപമാറ്റം നിങ്ങളാരും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. അതിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും തീവ്രമായ അവസ്ഥയിലെ സീനുകളോ സ്റ്റില്‍സോ പുറത്ത് വന്നിട്ടില്ല. ആടുജീവിതത്തിനു ശേഷം ജോര്‍ദാനില്‍നിന്ന് തിരിച്ച് വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ ഏറ്റവും മെലിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന അവസ്ഥ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. അവിടെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് മുടങ്ങി അകപ്പെട്ടുപോയതിനു ശേഷം ഭക്ഷണമൊക്കെ കഴിച്ച് രണ്ടര മാസം കഴിഞ്ഞുള്ള അവസ്ഥയാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടത്. സിനിമ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അത് മനസ്സിലാവും.’’
